Case Management

LaToya has been Case Manager for the Michelle P. Waiver for four years at KY STEPS. She has completed one year of graduate school pursing her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. She graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science degree in interdisciplinary studies. LaToya has worked in the Mental Health field for over 10 yrs. She has developed great knowledge with becoming a great advocate and providing service for the intellectual disabilities for adults, adolescents, and children. As a Case Manager, LaToya works with families in developing a Plan of Care utilizing Person Centered processes to assist in identifying and implementing support strategies, making sure desire and needs are supported with face to face visit to observe the health safety and welfare for the participant.  LaToya has provided other services such as Community Living Support, Person Center Coach, and  Personal Assistants.
