Through service, we seek to provide treatment, opportunities and access to individuals and families to live happily in their respective communities of choice.  Here at KY STEPS

The SCL Waiver program was developed for Kentucky citizens as an alternative to institutionalization. The focus of SCL is to allow a person to remain in or return to the community. Persons with developmental or intellectual disabilities who meet the requirements for residence in an Intermediate Care Facility for persons with Intellectual Disabilities, and who meet other Medicaid requirements, are eligible for this program.
